I live in a fairly small house with not to much room, My globes have been stored under the steps in the basement. Safe but not a good place to see them. Years ago when I bought my first pump I put it in my spare bedroom and when I got the computer it went in the closet. Bright idea why not put the globes in the closet with the computer. The first thing I did was add a second shelf 24 in. down from the original one. Here are the results.

Heres how I made the shelves. First I ordered 12 of the porcelin sockets with 1/2 NPT threads. Then I went to Lowes and bought 1/2 plastic conduit and connections to make up the light manifold. Two 1 X 10 X 8 ft. finished boards and some molding. I cut the boards off to fit in the closet and the pieces left over I made into small globe light mounts. I glued them to angle iron frames for extra weight. Here are the results. No comments about my shop. I thought about starting a thread on here about who had the dirtiest shop but figured nobody would show theirs. Mitch

Thanks everybody. Needless to say I love it. Some of those globes hadn't been out of their boxes in years. By the way the bulbs are the 40 watt floresent type so that they don't use a lot of electricty. Mitch

Looks great Mitch! Some nice globes there. Better in the closet than under the stairs.
Looks like you don't have anywhere to hang that Platinum Stamps sign. I can come next weekend and buy it so you won't have to find a place! Just trying to help out!!
