Just when you don't expect it. I hauled some scrap iron to the recycling yard and here was three lubster carts sitting in the scrap pile. Wayne

I call that a "rescue" rather than a find. Very nice!

I am hauling a load this morning. I check my scrap yard about once every few weeks. The owner pulls anything old out and he does sell it.
Thanks, Phil _________________________________________________ Looking for any old pumps, or nice 5 gallon cans.

Our scrap yard normally doesn't let you salvage because of safety reasons because of the yard size and all of the heavy equipment working there. But yesterday they let me save the lubsters for 25 cents per pound. Wayne

They obviously didn't know what they had. Our two local scrap yards are 15 cents per pound. Unless they know it is worth more. As I was weighing some scrap they had a Bear Wheel Alinement sign (and a few others hanging over the scale) just like Always Lookin's Avatar. I offered $75 and they said nope.
Wayne that is a great find and even a better story.

75?? If it was like mine, double sided with inner frame, you should have gone higher!
