does anyone have any experience with removing rust from a porcelain sign using electrolysis? namely, does the process take the porcelain off as well? I know electrolysis will take off most paints, but is porcelain one of the special exceptions?

(maybe I should just find a beater porcelain sign, hook up the Frankenstein Bath, and run the experiment myself!)

I wouldn't try it on anything that Thunder owns [he can't afford to loose 1 of the few items he owns!].

are those Argentine signs even actual porcelain?

I'll try it on a beater porcelain sign that I once picked up for $15, once my first experiment (on an embossed route marker) concludes.

I've got my electrolytic bath hooked up to the solar panels on the roof ... and it's cloudy today. Damn!
