I need a recommendation from you guys before I put this back on eBay and hear the unnecessary comments (which I suspect will happen). It's life......

The winning bidder of the sign is now more interested in some other pricier items I have, and therefore has asked me if I can cancel the Richlube sign transaction. Some pockets are only so "deep". The money being spent on the other items justifies what I need to do, no question about it. If I relist on eBay everyone is going to think ***** (what the *uck). I don't need that reputation, so what do you think is in my best interest? Have Dan Matthews sell it at Iowa Gas or Ohio, or put in back on eBay with a Buy It Now or give Craigslist an opportunity. The market value has already been determined and I'm not going to give it away, so what do you think I should do??

Additionally, I contacted the second highest bidder who was still seriously interested until they blew the bankroll budget at a couple weekend auctions as I was told.

I'm an honest guy, and if me posting this turns ugly, I will know that I joined the wrong Gas & Petrolium forum. Please try and focus your answers to my questions with respect, as I would do the same for you. Thanks in advance for your help. I truely appreciate and value each and everyones opinion.

God Bless America!

If it was mine... state that the sign sold for 7k lastime. Buyer cant pay. So I am listing it again, no reserve starting at 3500. That seems an honest approach and most should see nothing wrong with it.

There is one in both the CTO and Iowa gas auctions. Tell the story and put it on ebay is my suggestion.

Thank you advertologist, always lookin, and bustermonty for the comments :-)

By the way, the Richlube sign condition @CTO and Iowa does not even come close to this one, and the selling price should reveal that.

I don't know how big of hurry you are to sell that sign but you might want to wait a few months before relisting.
