I'm no expert but i imagine its fake just because its from argentina. My question is, is it a fantasy item, or did they make them this size? Looks like scaled down version of the huge sinclair sign. If I'm wrong let me know

Anthony

I would say it's a fake- sign looks totally wrong.

They certainly bust and rust the corners to give them the look of authentic wear and tear. The average guy could easily be fooled.

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Never seen anything like it, and it does not look right at all. Thank God for EBay Protection!

Look at your authentic Sinclair signs and compare the lettering
Look at the S and especially at the bottom of the L
in the Argentine sign it ends straight, real Sinclair signs it ends in a slant.

Guess I shouldn't be so happy to get a sign I've never seen before. Money blown!
