What do you guys think of this sign? Is it original. I have not seen this in person but I am pretty sure they have been reproduced.

Funny how everyone assumes it's a repro.

It looks just like my 42" original. Maybe they've repo'ed this in 42" size but if so it would feel flimsy. An original 42" has heavy shelving and is a heavy sign with grommet holes in the same spot...

So, it depends on size and weight...but I'd hazard a guess and say "original".

I would agree with DC's assessment. Looks jut like the one I used to have.

way better condition but looks to be the same sign that is in the petroleum value forum.

I ended up not going to the auction today as it was a 90 mile drive one way. Sounded like it was a repo at the time but maybe not. There was a few other gas/oil signs on that auction but mostly more common cheap ones. Also was some other repo signs. Maybe I should have went afterall.

mine is one sign repo, embossed lettering,
