Thanks for all the well wishes guys
Doc told me : another rise in the meds, and I am far away from normal levels.
The meds have to be raised slowly, which sux, cause I am ready to be better,
I have too many things to do before I kick.

Foxlincoln....If I was to do one it will be expensive.
Since I have never done one , untill I do, I won't know what to charge. Also I have NO parts to repair the bottom. I have no idea HOW it is suppused to function.
I think Jack has a manual for that unit, you would have to supply me w/ a copy
Condition would be a factor and the fact that I would have to devote all my attention to that job so not to forget anything.

Tiller...I have yet to see your core arrive.
Mr Little got the one I had ready last week when he came through town. I do have wheels and stuff ready to rebuild yours

IRISH....Send a few pics to my email

LC 336....That is a 1949+ computer, 36-B is 1936+, Erie is 1938+
it will fit but is not correct for those year pumps. All models of 12" CRANKBACK
computers, 1935-1955, will interchange. The only difference would be the location of the totalizer.

Most of the time I rebuild computers like you would get a rebuilt unit at the auto parts....
you send in a core and get a rebuilt computer of the same model back.
That is on 12" models anyway. I keep 10-15 of my own cores to rebuild before yours gets here.
I don't have 8" or 10 3/4" cores, so if you send one in, you get the same one back.
I have lots of parts. Depending on what you need I may have it.
Some parts are abundant and certain parts are scarce.

Because of overhead, rebuilds START at $200.00 but depending on condition;
wheel, blinder, frame, etc. damage, or missing totalizers, face brackets, etc.
will constitute parts fees. Rust and corrosion will be a factor too.

I don't mind answering some questions about computers but I don't always have time to be on site.
I do have a CD that identifies & dates most if not all of the "CRANKBACK" computers.
1932-1955 There is no 1 document that contains this information.
Serial #'s don't mean anything to me since I have nothing to reference.
Veeder Root does not have that information.
All the information is from 24 years of rebuilding computers, and comparing parts and
searching through pat off records
And PLEASE!!!!,, by all that is HOLEY in Gaspumpdom, They are veeder root COMPUTERS wink
The METER drives the COMPUTER cool

Next year I will turn 50 and I will have been rebuilding COMPUTERS 1/2 my life shocked
There are about 1000 of my rebuilt computers out there, some are in service......

Wouldn't you love to get gas from a Wayne 60 cool cool cool cool

Joe.

Joe`s CD is great. If you do not have it you should get it. I read it all and looked at the pictures. If it were in book or booklet form I would look at it more offten than I do in CD form.

That way when you wear it out you can print another.
I guess it is a good thing I didn't have it printed....I have not sold enough to cover production costs !!!

There are given names, usernames, email names. Doing business like this can get confusing. confused
In order to bring a little order to this problem:

1) When you send me an email about your computer, include your first and last name and address, and Your Name and "Computer" in the subject.

2) If your unit has flat wheels, I need to know what color background decals you want, and what price you want the unit to display.

3) Remove top and bottom sheet metal and the bell & clapper assembly. I do not have replacement springs for the bell assemblies.

4) I will require only two pictures of your entire computer without the sheet metal, close up, from these two angles.
These two pictures will tell me everything I need to know about your unit.

All of this information, in one email, will save us both a bunch of time and confusion.
Also, if you are shipping from a Shipping store, make sure your Name is in or on the box.
If it is not marked with your name, I don't know who it came from.

Thanks
Joe

Joe, how about the cost for a pair of computers for 2 Wayne 70s . I have original computers that are unrestored to exchange.

Thanks

Hi Joe

I still have a veeder root from my Tok 39 short, for you to restore. Hopefully in October my paint man will have it apart for me to take some photos and send it to you.

Hope the back gets better.

Doug

Rebuilds start at $200.00
damage will be a $ factor if major parts have to be replaced.
Right now I am covered up.
thanks
Joe

Please do not send computers w/ these types of devices on them,
they are not part of the computer. They are part of the on/off system. I do everything inside the sheet metal.

Sheet metal, on/ off devices (lockout) and gear trains need to be removed.
Thank you,
Joe
