Just curious what PPG red paint code you guys have used on your script top pumps. What looked best and what didn't. Thanks.

Here is what I have in my "files".

Mobilgas red 1960 code 70195 - may not be possible to mix with todays "ingredients".

RAL 3020... is what I have used - any brand could make it, looks good.

Someone here on Oldgas gave this recepie a couple of years ago in modern PPG, have not seen myself.
MOBIL red:
PPG DCC acrylic urethane
CUMULATIVE PARTS
DMC900 27.8 27.8
DMC903 35.0 7.2
DMC917 155.9 120.9
DMC909 357.5 201.6
DMC907 1345.4 987.9

These old car colors are very close - I have used Rangoon red myself in a modern PPG mix.

1964 Ford Rangon Red
1962 Chevrolet Roman Red.

A quart will definately be enough (IMO)
