Hey, my first post on this sight, though I've been "lurking" in the shadows for months! Does anybody have info. on identifying restroom signs that have no oil co. logo? Shell's yellow and red is pretty obvious but what about some with more generic colors? For example blue and white(Could be Union, Pure, Chevron etc.). Many times I have seen porcelain "Men" or "Women" signs for sale with no logo, and have wondered if I am passing up a petro item, or just a generic restroom sign. Figured if anybody has any reference for this, the folks on this site would know about it. Thanks in advance! --Brian

I have also seen those signs in old stores and restaurants as well as at outdoor public restrooms. They came in both raised letters and level finish. Believe it or not, I know where there are enamel men and women restroom signs on a new installation at a golf course. I have a couple of old catalogs from the 50's showing different signs that were available.

Antique? It's new to me.
