Thanks DB, one more dumb question, how tall is the clamshell globe?

Just trying to figure out how tall it will be with my globe in a high profile body?

Thanks

Keith:

If you have serious height issues, you can always go with a low-profile 15.0" body. They are about 1.5" shorter in 'stock' form than the high-profile version.

And you can easily trim 1/2" to 3/4" off of the bottom of the mounting ring if you need to.

If that is still too tall, you can separate the globe itself from the base and slide the globe protion down about 3/4" into the base and redo the spot-welds.

Later . . .

Jim

Pretty sure I have a Top that I can remove the 4 corners & by not having Adv glass, that will reduce the height by ANOTHER 5"+!
