I have an old Wadham 10 gallon oil can. It has a screw on lid and handles. It was used by mechanics before 55 gallon drums became popular. It looks a little like an old milk can. If anybody has information on how much something like this is worth I would love to hear from you. By the way it is in fair to poor condition(needs a paint job).

If you post or send me a picture of the can I will tell you what the original purpose of the can was. I have over 50 catalogs from petroleum equipment companies and almost every one of them has 30-40 cans shown. jhsim@swbell.net

I've got a 10 gallon milk can that has a small brass Wadhams name plate brazed on it.It is a dead ringer for the every day milk can and was painted red at one time.
