Does anyone have any idea of what area or state
a Super A Hi-octane Gasoline globe would have been from? Age? The word Super in blue goes across the front of the lens over top of an A in red. Hi-Octane at the top in red and Gasoline at the bottom in blue. Thanks in advance for your help

Don:

Simpson Oil Company out of St Louis Missouri.

Used from 1955 - 1964. It should be 13.5" lenses on a glass body and is rated a '2' for rarity (common globe - fairly available among most collectors).

1999 price book has it at $250 - $450.

Now if you have a Simpson's Premium Ethyl globe with the Ethyl 'EC' logo - I'd be interested in one of those!

Later . . .

Jim
