Does the Iowa gas show have vendors there like Vics?

If you want something specific, contact them beforehand. They won't have all their inventory at the swap meet.

Speaking of vendors, I always thought it would be nice if they could have a sign at their table that says they're an old gas member. The sign could have a space to write in their on line name. Good advertising for the site and it could pull our "family" closer together. I always like to match faces to names.
If it's alright with you Jim, maybe somebody could come up with a design and post it on the forum. We could then print our own placards, sign our name, and put it on display. Or keep it proprietary and print and sell them to us. Either way I would be happy.

Great idea! I would proudly display a placard at all of the Gas/Oil shows. Although I can't make Iowa this year, I will be at Dixie Gas, Dry Creek, and (hopefully) Iowa 2012.

This will be may first Iowa gas show, so I am really looking forward to seeing what it is all about. I already have my list ready of things that I am looking to buy. Thanks Jack Sim for your info in your post. It will be helpful.
I won't get there til Wednesday night. Couldn't get a room at the Holiday Inn so I will try to get down there when I get in town to see if there any good deals left. So save some for me. By the way, A tall Wayne 80 base is first on my list.
