...did this sign ORIGINALLY have neon - or is this a two-sided pole sign, to which someone recently added neon?
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

3700.00 picked up in Oklahoma City. This sign was a double sided sign neon originaly when it was manufactured. It was made into a neon sign in the 1940s..when it was new then... since I have providence with photos. I can send them on request. This is not a sign that was recentley drilled for neon. It was found in a ravine in Mo. with two double sided signs with a can that was rusted away. The side that is mounted on the outside with new neon has never seen daylight until about two years ago.

Hi.could you send me the photos of this sign with the provenance?? do you have photos with the original can??......it appears in the photo you posted that the holes to mount the sign to the can are onlyan inch or so apart, then there appears to be a large space where ther are none....thanks DT
