Almost every 11 1/2" to 11 3/4" round sign is a fake. It would be easier to make a list of real ones.
Here are a few that I looked up in PCM's Guide to GAS PUMP RESTORATION book.
CHEVRON 11" Calso 11" Jenny 12" National 12" Dixie 12" Grizzly 12" Oklahoma 12" Superior 11" BA 11" Kendall 11"
You get the idea...they are either 11 or 12". Not 11 1/2 or 11 3/4", etc. Except for Union 76. They have a few that are 11 1/2".
The book is a great reference tool. Too bad it's out of print. Looking at the prices on eBay, I should have bought hundreds of them !

Is what I noticed from looking over Scott's list is that the originals that are the 11 or 12 inch size are not real common brands and are bigger money signs, not the Sinclairs, Mobils, and Gulfs of the gas world! Darin
