Does any one know of a vibrant green color and paint code for a Polly? Also e mail pix if you have some it would be appreciated.
Thanks

i've got a green i've used on some polly stuff over the years. i'll look & see if there is a code still legible on the can. it's a brighter green than some i've seen, but really pop's with the black & matches the decals well.

i'll look for some more pics, but you can see a polly lubester peeking out from behind the guy's leg who kept getting in the way while i was trying to take pics of my spot.

I use Spring green which is a Cessna color. I just did a FRY 10 with it as an accent against the black body. It is a nice older style green without the neon look.

There is some postings on this website for some suggested paint colors for POLLY. Check out www.bobs-garage.com, supposedly the paint he sells are matched to original paint codes, chips based on a book, catalog he has for the different major gas companies, not sure if that's all or partially true. Give him a call and he can explain it better. Nevertheless, I got the green paint from him, for my two Polly Gas pumps, see pics on showcase forum "POLLY GAS Pumps Southwest Model 812), the green matches the decals very well. There are so many pictures of the pumps restored using different versions of green for POLLY GAS, non-metalic, metalic, light green, medium green, etc. It's a matter of tastes. They all look good. Good-luck. Post pics when your done.
