Would someone please tell me the year my pump was built? It's a M&S 80, series 4B, serial #102135. Thanks

There is a number at the top of the face plates above where it says Martin & Schwartz,Inc. Salisbury, Maryland, U.S.A. one side is 15093 other side is 15092. But I'm pretty sure that's the number on the ID tag. I'll look again tomorrow.

Face Plate #'s are Stock # of face plate, NOT Ser # of pump. 1 # is for Face w/ the Totalizer holes, other is w/o.

I looked again with glasses on and serial no. 102135 is correct. Is that sometime in the 50's?

If I recall correctly....Wayne Pump Company bought out Martin and Schwartz in 1951 rebranding this pump the Wayne 80? If that is the case, your pump might be from an earlier time? Paul www.severngaspumps.com

I thought it was M&S because it says that on the face, but the tag says the wayne pump company with the MS Pump logo.

Is it a wayne, or m&s? Are parts like door glass etc. interchangeable?

For the most part, just consider it a Martin Schwartz 80. They were the designer and the year really doesn't matter, does it? If it is complete and in good condition then you have a really good pump, in my opinion. I have sold a bunch of these....always restored....and they are liked by most collectors.
