these have been reproduced in a variety of "flavors" - in fact I think I remember seeing some at IA Gas MANY years ago for sale in several different brands - all brand newly made.

If it came in that frame I would say its not 1960s, more like 1990s or newer

That sellers name has been in the "suspect" forums here before

Not sure if the sign is real or not..... But I wouldn't buy a hundred dollar bill for a penny if it passed through new Albany, Indiana
see me at Mason Dixon Gas, Spring Carlisle M114-115, and Hershey C4E-35.

Also how could the prices be predetermined and permanent by the menu board maker?

The date is on the box I bet. Ask him for a pic of the round makers mark seal. The date of the box is on that. It narrows it down some.

see the similar Mountain Dew menu board in their closed auctions along with the repo faced Coke pam clocks.
looks like a bunch of old and new that looks old stuff in here.
No way either of those menu boards are old. Fairly modern looking construction on the backs of them.
I'm not falling for it.

If it came in that frame I would say its not 1960s, more like 1990s or newer TRUE ON THE FRAME, BUT I HAVE FRAMED MANY OF MY 50-70 YEAR OLD COKE POSTERS WITH THE SAME STYLE FRAMES (POLISHED OR PAINTED ALUMINUM). ANY NEW FRAME CAN BE ADDED TO AN OLD PIECE...DOESN'T MAKE IT A REPOP.

see the update on the Mountain Dew version 250878521703 On Aug-23-11 at 18:31:31 PDT, seller added the following information:
"I purchased this sign and was told it was from the 60's or 70's. I had a ebayer email me and he believed it was a reproduction from the late 80's or early 90's. So, please use your own judgement and place your bids accordingly. I am no expert on these signs and I just took the guys word that it was original. Thanks, Ernie"
