Hi everyone, have a question for you guys. Sometime in the next few weeks I'll be starting to restore this lubster. Restoring it back to the Polly brand like it was originally, but pretty sure the yellow was not the original paint. I'd love to hear your idea's or suggestions! Any idea's you could throw at me would be a huge help, Thanks!

by examining the piece, how many coats of paint are present? Is it orignal paint format for this piece
or was it altered? Try to find a picture of one like
it to be sure or use your own imagination, green & black look good together- 3 or 4 colors detailed-
when you get ready use a artist to paint the graphics on instead of a decal- looks much better-
That done right would be killer..

Only one coat of paint, the yellow you see. But....almost certain that it was sandblasted and repainted at some point. The only thing I am absolutely certain of is decals are original. Far as finding an old picture, so far not having much luck. Would absolutely love to find pics though! Jack Sim has a pc of literature, going to purchase that when I can reach him but I believe that is a black & white pc. I agree with you on the 3-4 color combo, just having a hard time imagining what all colors to use and where to put them. Figure the more idea's I can get the better, I've sure seen some wonderful pictures on here, just not of an enclosed lubster like this!
