I picked up a 5 gallon Ellisco oil can on ebay. It was the lettering TWOSC along the front of the can. Can anybody tell me what it means..I figure it's an acrynom for a company. Thank you Richard

that's funny! A buddy of mine picked up a similar can painted white with The same letters done in black. While he was thinking is was a dairy can, I said that it could be a oil related can. I'll see if I can get a pic. He said the tag location was Philly.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1920S-VINTAGE-5-...6#ht_500wt_1119

CAM LOOKS THE SAME, MAYBE A VARIATION ON THE TIDEWATER COMPANY, BUT STILL STUMPED ON THE S.C. PART

Mine is a screw on lid..brass tag says super service can. I thought milk cans had a different neck opening.

Milk cans are made out of stainless steel (food products) gas cans are not. Mitch
