I recently won this 5 pound INVADER grease can on Ebay. I think it went super cheap ($5.65) because it was somewhat dirty and stained from the product inside. The seller packed it in some kind of soft fluffy material which may've buffed it on the ride over from PA LOL! I was happy to get it cheap and add a new size can to my ever growing INVADER collection. I used WD40 and Meguire's cleaner wax first...both were very slow with the cleaning process. Then I thought to try some gasoline I keep in a quart can just for cleaning. I worked quite easily, fast and I then had a nice gleaming can (despite a few bumps). GASOLINE! Don't recall that ever mentioned when can cleaning! Who'da thunk it? SIDE A BEFORE: SIDE A AFTER: SIDE B BEFORE: SIDE B AFTER:

Yes, gasoline works quite well at cutting grease. In my youth while working on cars that's all I ever used for cleaning parts.
Good looking can.

I've used gasoline before with success. I might be overly cautious, but I always used it outside.

Ok where does one find Zymol? If you go to their website - unless I have the wrong one - its like 100's of dollars a can or something like that. (I was at the website last Wednesday when the other thread mentioning this first started.) I think ACE hardware caries a clean wax so are you talking this or their pure wax. John

Works great for cans and signs.

That sounded like a perhaps serious question from one who at times likes to discuss things in person. He addressed Doc.Otherwise I'll give it a shot later.
