Looking for a full set of wheels for the 40's-early 50's VR calculator. The small 10's indicator only has 1-4 and the numbers on the wheels are block looking instead of round like the mid 50's and newer. Thanks

BTT Still looking for some calculator wheels. Even if they aren't NOS and perfect I can use them to try and rebuild one of these monsters. Thanks

Mike,
I do have a spare computer that I have partially disassembled to rebuild. It has good wheels that will need some paint.

I would be interested in selling the entire unit.

Please let me know if you are interested.

Thank You

Send a few pics to mikebrowning2@yahoo.com and let me know how much you want for it as is. Shipping will be what it is. Heavy stuff might be cheaper UPS but USPS is usually cheaper and if you pay postage on-line they pick up for free. I use USPS for all my e-bay sales. Thanks

Mike,
I really don't know much about VR wheels, but I have over 100 VR wheels.
First of all I would sell them all at a great price, second, please let me know what wheels you want (black on white, white on black, embossed, plain).
Most of the old ones need restoration, but I will sell them right, just need to know what you need.

Joe Y has given me quite a bit of help on these and I did not realize there were so many different variations. As you are looking at the calculator, the left wheels are unique and the right wheels are unique and the right wheels are different top to bottom because of the tenths of a gallon and one side of the calculator turns one way and the other turns the opposite. I think a full set 12 of wheels consist of 8 different wheels. I want the embossed type that are black with white numbers. That would be the style with the block style numbers and not the newer 1955 or so that are more modern and slightly bigger in diameter. Would you want to sort through them for a set or would you rather sell the bunch? I'd like to get the new gas pump book and air meter book from you too. Will you autograph them? You can call me if you'd rather. 217-962-1501 That's my cell number and feel free to call any time.
