i'm need some parts that were lost/destroyed in the fire for my 36B. right now, i know i need a sight glass & retaining ring. i'll look it over tomorrow & add to the list if i see anything else. thanks!

i have a deal made for the sight glass assembly. the main thing i need is a good door & possibly 5 or 6 of the sight glass retaining clips for the top. thanks!

yes, was my garage. all totalled around $150k loss. luckily, only two pumps were in there, my 36b & wayne 60 narrow that i kept inside to "preserve" from the elements until resto time.also had 2 36 fords & 20k worth of antique coke machines along with everything else. had good insurance, so that was a blessing.

Wow! That' scary . That is one thing that frightens the S#@T out of me . With my garage with all my collectibles with no insurance on this stuff.
How did the fire start ?

nobody's sure how it started, i'm guessing either the t.v. or a drill batt charger that was hooked up. luckily, i went in the house for a few mins & while i was gone, heard a loud "pop". went back out to investigate & it was on fire.

it's all good now. new shop is up & almost running at full speed. i took the opportunity to change a few things & upgrade others, so have a better working environment now. this happened last nov., so has been a really exhausting year to say the least. nobody was hurt & the house wasn't damaged, so just been focusing on the positive things.
