Maybe I missed the first part of this story but I'm interested. Is this an old station taken down that you're reassembling or are you building it from scratch from salvaged pieces. Just out of curiosity, what size ( length and width) is the station. Actually have an old shed outback I'm considering renovating into a station. It is 12' wide and 16' deep. I'm a little concerned with the scale of the 12' side being the front.
Yours looks great. Can't wait to see it complete. Jamie

This is how the station sat for over 50 years while not in use. I found the demolition permit from 1954 for where it sat near downtown Spokane Washington. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Roof area is around 30' long and 15' wide. office is 14' x 15'
