SHOWING HERE, A '48 DODGE C.O.E. RAT ROD THAT MY FRIEND CHRIS IS WORKING ON. THE CHEVY 454 C.I. ENGINE IS MOUNTED ON THE FRAME RAILS IN A COMPARTMENT IN THE FORWARD PART OF THE XTRA LONG BED MADE FROM '65 CHEVY PICK-UP BEDS, AFT IS THE CARGO SECTION WITH CABINETS IN BETWEEN. THE REAR TREADS ARE SURROUNDED BY FORD PICK-UP FAT FENDERS. TRULY A ROLLING WORK OF ....ART!?? LOL!

A SMALL SIGN ON THE CARGO BOX READS "DODGE BUILT TOUGH...WITH CHEVY STUFF!" laugh

Was going through some old slides and found this...my old truck after we removed the barn that landed on it. I have a ranger now (all we could afford) and like it, but miss the smooth ride of this one. Would still be driving it if it wasn't for the tornado. This was my first new vehicle, factory ordered in '84 with heavy duty springs and suspension plus duel gas tanks, known later as suicide tanks... smile The suspension did not tolerate the tonnage from the barn though and I think both front and rear axles broke--you cant see it too good but the front and rear wheels are leaning in different directions.

Seen this '34 Ford last year at the Goodguys meet at Kansas Speedway, but forgot to take a pic of it. Glad it showed up again this year.

I saw this 49 a month or so back when I went to buy my 50,but forgot to take a picture.I got back up there for work today so I stopped. It's a shame it's just sitting outside a truck stop and repair center. The V8 flattie is still under the hood.
