Found these on Ebay. The seller says they are real but I have never any one like it. The boxes may be old but new decals??

Keith, something about the box doesn't seem to be quite right. I would think that the steel box would show some "wear" it nothing else just from storage, especially from Northern CA where the climate would have effected it. Of course take what I say with a "grain of salt" as I wasn't there if it were found in an old gas station.
I have an old "records box" from Tidewater Oil, but it is made of wood and honestly that is what I expected to see in the auction photos.

Both of you confirm what I was thinking. It would be easy to have the decals made and put on. I had a Mobil customer records box once and there was no question on that one and I have seen other ones of those but nothing like these in Sinclair. Price seems cheap also if they are real and no bids.
