One needs to review all BASH/SWAP pictures ... My goodness, so much stuff for sale.

IMO, shows are going to come back more & more. Just like good'ol days! Nothing like picking up an item & give it a close inspection!

If I had plenty of cash to spare, I would have brought that Gilbarco double home from Hershey last week, but I've got to admit that I only spent $60 at Hershey. Not picky, tight! I still had a great time going. Brady

I'm tight...some people can tell you that here wink
But if somebody comes along with one of these I'm not tight anymore..(see pics).

No, just not seeing anything that interests me out there usually it's feast or famine...I get bored. sleep

As far as Hershey...it was the usual La La Land prices ($$$$$).

Good items are either in collections, are overpriced, or have not been found yet. Someone gave me a good reference on items at these shows- "It's a moving museum"(Don't get me wrong Im sure some of the stuff sells). I feel a lot of people are just sitting tight at the time due to the economy. Once in a while you will see a nice item come up at a fair price....Keep looking you shall find.

Might as well remove the nozzles as they are not period correct!
that might save $2 on shipping!

What are you looking for? I am a neon sign crafter and would be willing to make whatever you like. I have been in the sign industry for 25 years and can build a fantasy or exact reproduction of whatever you desire. I am in Medford Or and can ship signs wherever you like. Let me know what you want. I am not having that problem at all...I have bought a lot of good stuff over the last several months...and I know of a lot more out there that I would love to have. I am not saying everything was a smokin hot deal...on some items there was room to make a few bucks and others that I wanted for my own collection were at or close to retail, but certainly no shortage.

I offer quart can re-lidding, can rolling, lid stamping, and dent removal.

I sure haven't noticed a shortage of cool stuff lately....

Between Ebay, Hershey, Old Gas, Auctions there hasn't been enough time or money to go around...

It's all about what your looking for and what your looking to spend.. Good luck finding someone that giving the stuff away!

I agree with GMstuff - it's out there - but good stuff rarely comes cheap anymore. Several old adages come to mind: "Nothing easy is worth having", "You get what you pay for"....
If someone has a great piece - some may call it "la la land prices" -but I say go find another - especially if it's in nice condition. It's often said - "I didn't pay too much - I just bought it early". I think this is especially true for high quality signs, globes, etc.
