OP ToonMan Petro Enthusiast Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 328 Portland, OR	Earlier this year I was in a Car Accident. Sitting still in traffic and rear-ended by a guy doing 60. My Back was hurt pretty bad. I Couldn't walk for 3 weeks. The doctor told me I could not go to work and not to sit and watch TV the whole time, but to find something to do to stay Busy. That is when I started my Bowser and Lubester projects. I had owned them for 20 years, it was time. My Wife set me up work stations where I could work while sitting at 3 different heights. That worked very wel for me!!! Another thing I did was to paint signs. I am an Automotive Cartoonist, but wanted to see if I could reproduce some old signage. It kept me busy. I am now back to work on light duty. Hoping my body can adjust!!!!! Here are some of the signs that I did. 1st one....Kept it simple!!! Done on an old crate top 37" Diameter This one is made with 1950's Drive in theater Marquee letters 18" Diameter 37" Diameter Rob the ToonMan CAR-toons http://www.chevytrucks.org/squatch-art
