Do you guys think it would be worthwhile to add another forum category for testing picture posting and related practice messages?
I'd probably delete the topics regularly to save server space.

I see alot of folks using the transportation bullitin board for testing now so I think it could be useful.
Can you do stickys on these forums? You could post some of the picture posting information thats been created of the years to help the folks & they would always be at the top if you could lock & sticky them.

Stickys on the forums would be a good idea.

Jim, Here is another idea to save server space that is used on another site for which I am a member. It referes to the "For Sale" and "Wanted" sections. The original poster of the thread plasces either the word "sold" or "found" in the title so that the moderator know to delete the thread. Just a though. Scot
Looking for nearly anything related to Signal Oil

st. rod, stickys are messages that are always at the top of the thread all new messages are posted under them. They are usually informational telling the rules or how to do something. They can be locked so no one can post additional information in them. Tom example of stickys can be seen here. http://www.highdefforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=5

Sorry guys, I can't do stickies or change topic subject titles with the current software. The newer forum programs have lots of bells and whistles like that, but the change-over process can be brutal. It is like jacking up a house to put in a new foundation while people are living in it. All our topics are on standard html pages while newer forum's topics are assembled on demand from database information. I like the new cool features, but external searchability, like through Google, can suffer. I am thinking about doing it someday.
I am seriously considering adding a message testing forum though.
