Hi,
I have a Wayne 100B. On the nozzle side toward the top is a fitting that sticks out from the pump shell. As I remember (as a kid) this fitting had a cable that went from the pump housing to either the hose or nozzle.
Is this correct or am I dreaming? If there wasn't for a cable, what is that fitting for?
Thanks
Warren

Most of the 100B pumps that I have had have a cable that comes out of a cable bezel near the top of the pump near the nozzle holder. The cable would then, like Dick said, attach to the hose.

So how / what attaches this retractor cable to the hose? Most replacement hoses have nothing? I'm assuming there must be a clamp of some sort?
Also, (again as I remember) the cable automatically rolls back into the housing? I again assume this must be a spring loaded reel of some sort?
Thanks

There is a clamp that wraps around the hose and the cable attaches to the clamp. Some pumps have a spring loaded retractor, some use a weight.
