I know this is a rare sign, but $29,000 starting bid. This guy is crazy.

Pretty nice sign! Remember the old adage--"You can't get it if you don't ask it"!

Imagine that never fails

I bet it would bring pretty near that price in a major auction if it is indeed as nice and NOS as stated

In my opinion, that sign is the crème de la crème of all automobilia…. If any sign is worth that much that would be the one, and the condition is almost the best I’ve ever seen.

I agree with KZ, in any high profile auction one could fetch that much… My 2 cents?

Well there is more than 1 NOS one out there right Dennis...I have seen a few of these, in fact i spoke with a gentleman from Florida i think it was that had found a box full of these signs NOS about 35 years ago. Said he advertised them at 100 dollars each in Hemmings back then and sold them all but one. Which was on ebay about 12 years ago and i was back up bidder (i was too cheap)(Dennis wasn't) and didn't know what i know now about those signs. So there is more out there than a person thinks. I believe in this economy the sign would sell in the 20k range but 29k might be stretching it....mm

Wanted early tin litho signage.

I remember that auction well, didn't see it on ebay but seen it on Dennis's ebay list. I was depressed a week over that...That went off around a holiday & went cheap... that is a killer sign..

Kim, you still remember that auction? You have a good memory, that was a long time ago. That sign is still one of my favorites.
