The guys on Primarily Petroliana are awesome! Below I have attached a link to a photo I have of an old Sinclair station.
I think the pumps are Tokheim Model 39A but I could be wrong.I figured out the globe on the first pump, but I am having trouble with the second one. There is also on decal on the side of number 2, that I don't know what it is. Again any help appreciated.

Are you sure they are Sinclair? The small sign on the side of the pump you are asking about is the ID tag for the pump.

I disagree w/ left globe being a SINCLAIR [circle w/ ETHYL in pic is lower than centered as in SINCLAIR, maybe a MOBIL ETHYL].

Was HUDSON sold in Utah?

Globe on left is a "Mobile Ethyl", globe on right is a "Mobile Gasoline" with a detailed salt flats racer pictured in the center. I'm not sure on the history off hand, but I believe they were part of the Covey Oil Company that was bought out by Sinclair. I am at work and do not have photos of these two globes, but should have some to post tonight.

Thank you very much for the ID's on the gas pump globes. Awesome. If you wouldn't mind, could you make those High Definition 300 dpi scans? The ones on the net are small and blurr when enlarged. Thanks again . Utah Bob

Thanks Jim for the link. Is there anyway to get a better scan of the globes? 300 dpi at least 3 by 3 inches in size?
Thanks. Like I said you guys are awesome.

You need to get ahold of Wendall White of Bountiful Utah. I haven't seen him for a couple of years, Hope he is still active.

Wasn't Covey Earl Holdings father-in-law aka Little America, Earl bought out the Sinclair refinery in Sinclair, Wyoming in the 80's. And of course Little America stations and hotel which Covey started are a big part of SLC history. Mitch
