I was at a friends place last week and I couldn't resist this very old thermometer from the KUNZ oil company! The backing is fairly soiled but it is still a great piece. I'm afraid to even try and clean it!

The face is "foxed," or mildewed. Don't think that anyone short of a professional paper conservator can clean it up--your instincts are correct. Still a nice piece.

I got the Atlantic pump plate off a fellow Old Gasser, thanx Chuck. Book says it was used from 1966 - 1970. SSP I got the Ashland Ethyl lenses today from my younger brother. I first saw them on Facebook, a guy was trying to find out what they were worth. I told him a low doller starting point and told him to let me know if he decides to sell them. Then I see the same picture on Old Gas under the "Whats it worth" section. Then my brother sees them on Craigs list and gets his offer of $50 less than I told the guy accepted. He then sold them to me at his cost. Book says they should be on glass, used from 1946 - 1960. The guy that had them said they were found in an old station about 30 years ago in a box with the corragated paper/ cardboard still between them. (One of the Facebook comments was to "Call American Pickers....)

I picked this up from a fellow Oldgasser last week. I think it is an unused window decal, its almost 30" wide, with killer colors.

Don't know if it's real or not but I'm assuming it's missing the Y in purity. Strange ;;;;;;;;;;Ron

POSTING FOR "1Petrofan"WAYNE 40-A Probably the best shape pump I have ever bought – not rusted out anywhere and correct veedor root with side totalizer, just needs a side access door and reset handle. A big thanks to “Manassas Fats” Keith Johnson for selling this pump to me. Brady

I picked up this 1941 Coca-Cola Fountain Service sign. Not the best of shape but at a good price. Also a rare double sided Packard sign!
