I am going to restore a visible pump from the 20's era. I was wanting to know the correct decal/ logo for this pump. What would one look like, does it have dinosaur logo? All help appreciated.

Thanks, Phil

Hi Phil,
According to PCMs Guide to Gas Pump Restoration , you have a number of options for Sinclair globes and decals in the 1920s. All depends on the grade of gas and if earlier or later in the 20s. The logo with the vertical center stripes, "HC", Benzol, Aircraft or US Motor Specification could be accurate.
Dino didn't come along on gas pump signage until the 1960s. Of course, older pumps could possibly have been in use in a newer era with newer logos.
