For the newbies. This is fake.

Letters not indented, or the white porcelain raised about the letters.

Another new fake. That's the first time I've seen a reproduction of that sign.

See Blacktee's comments and compare it to the one he had for sale.

I disagree, Because I have one just like the one that was on ebay.
I know it's real because I took it off a shut down old Texaco.
They made them both ways with thick porcelain and very thin porcelain.

Texaco made two stlyes correct, read my post again. Black letters were either raised or lowered on the surface. Both had shelving. The auction one appears to be flat ? Holes look very small and no grommets.

I just went out and looked at my little sign again, And it is smooth and little holes and no grommets. That is the way I found it on a Texaco rest room door. It was mounted on by rivets,

Hit the zoom and you may see the black letters are indented, they also made them with the black letters raised, look it even has grommets. LMAO

I don't know, but mine looks just like the that was on ebay. And all I'm saying is I know mine is real Because I pulled it off my self from a Texaco station here in N.M.

Hard to argue with someone that took it off a station himself. Guess Texaco made them a cheaper way in the later years.
