Hi there, new to site and to pumps. I recently picked up a Tokheim 36a, just needing very few parts for my restoration. In doing several general info searches via the web, I notice a whole lot more 36B's images and parts. With the 36a having the external visi, is there any more worth to it? Also, would the reset crank and pump handle fork holder be interchangeable between 36 and 36B? Thank you.

Never heard of a 36A, but then again they may have listed pumps differently in Canada.
In my Gas Pump Identification book, I identified the 36 as having an outside sight gauge.

As far as I know they are the same parts.
most of the guts are the same except frame, cabinet & computer.
It is a special size 10 3/4" computer
I think the reason folks call them "A"'s is because folks call a 36-B a 36....just like they call computers "METERS"

I have 36-B's, But don't have ANY 36's, but do know that a lot of parts will NOT interchange between the 2.
