Vintage hood ornaments...Some examples: Pierce Arrow archer, Pontiac Indian chiefs (multiple versions), even the Mack Truck bulldog. Love the other art deco types but not sure if they would be as direct a connection to the brand/advertising as the ones above. But then my knowledge of hood ornaments is not extensive...

For me it is this "little" badge.

It is attached to the car that turned the racing world and the rest on the world on their collective ears, once a Texas chicken farmer inserted a solid lifter 289 underneath the bonnet.

The 1960 AC Aceca Bristol 'Ace Bodied'

Just to ensure Jason and I aren't hi-jacking the thread....

The first car badge for the new Shelby AC Cobra;

"The Man" with his first 2 Shelby's in 1962;

I met Carroll in 1966, at a Trans AM Race at Riverside CA. Dad was under powered, under funded, but came in a respectable 11th in the SCCA A Sedan race preceding the Trans AM race.....

Always ford for me, but the Chrysler guys always had the coolest emblems.
