I got the pic to load, but I don't know where it went. I don't see it in this forum. Being a newbie sucks.

Sorry to hear of this. You would think your pump would be safe being bolted down and the large size of it. I would like to display one of my pumps outside the garage but reluctant to do so due to thieves! Hopefully some oldgas networking will help you get your pump back.

Sorry to hear that, check your local scrap yards Desperate times people are scrapping anything they can get their hands on. By me someone stole a disabled Vets wheelchair from his driveway.

They are good, but ex post facto. Your stuff will still be gone. You may want to hook the motion sensor up to an alarm and a flood light. I tripped one one in an old mill and the sound alone will deter thieves. Dave

This plan did not work too well for some property owners near me who had some signs stolen out of a falling down station building on their property. After the first theft they put out 3 of those cameras...and the theives must of came back and they stole 2 of the 3 the trail cameras that time. Jim

My security system. ADT, motion flood lights on all sides, radio blasting talk radio at night, cameras hidden all over/recorded off site, a tv set flickering if you look through a window, dog warning signs under each light. Just some ideas for you.

Still sending out messages and posting flyers. I do think Rick will sell his collection of gas pumps. Too hard to secure and if by luck you catch the guys, they really don't do anything to them. It's just so frustrating.

I talked to Rick tonight in class and nothing has came up yet. Guys keep your eyes out for it. I've been checking ebay and craigslist everynight but nothing yet. He said he has contacted most of the local collectors but has not been able to get a hold of Flory Mendicino yet. Mitch

Wonder if there is a way to cement the bottom portion of gas pump to ground without ruining the metal bottom of pump to display it outside. Thought of doing this with old wagon wheels in front yard for decoration but don't want people to see a rare pump in front of house, may do it in back yard.

...couldn't you run a piece of threaded pipe from the original intake into the concrete slab, and weld/fuse the coupler?...that way, thieves would have to cut the pipe to steal the pump...might buy you some time to catch the %$#@...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
