OK, I think I'm going to start poking away at a Wayne 276 with this 5 gallon attachment. I already have a few questions. First,I guess is this an "American" attachment? Also I'm wondering if there is something missing at the top, by the globe mount. It measures about right for a 6" globe but I'm thinking maybe there would be something to shield the rain water from getting in, although there is a drain hole... Also at the very top of the cylinder, where the cast piece that clamps the glass and sandwich's the gallon indicators is, there is only a piece of galvanized sheetmetal. What would seal the top from leaking? Thanks anybody, somebody.

Here are a couple of pictures of the one I have. Overflow tube us just lower than the top piece. Getting correct valves is the problem though.

Sorry about the pictures- My phone is beat to heck and the lens is scratched. What I mean about the top of the jug is that there appears to be no real seal. Just that sheet metal kinda lays there and above that is the cast bonnet.

Similar to the Mae West GLM/Fry, Correct Meas. & other pumps. Cylinders have a metal ring sealed to each end. Bottoms are sealed w/ a cork Gasket to cyl. base casting & bonnets rest on upper metal ring.
