I am trying to get accurate shipping quotes and need to know what a FRY 117 weighs.
It is a complete pump with the cylinder and some parts removed for shipping, but boxed up for shipment with the pump.

Attached is a picture of the actual pump ready to be shipped.

Thanks for the help,
Jerry

Just a suggestion.....you want an accurate freight quote???? Why not take it to a trucking company and have it weighed? They have the ability to do that. A lot of the forklifts have scales incorporated in the lifting mech. Even if it costs a few bucks.....you'd know? Just thinking about how I'd do it? Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Weigh your pickup on a truck/farm scale, place all items in P.U. & re-weigh.

Every time that I have shipped a large item cubic volume (size of crate) is a greater factor in shipping cost them the weight of crate.

Stand on a bathroom scale and have your wife hand you the parts. Or if there is a scrap yard around they have accurate truck scales also. Dont forget to subtract your weight from the total.

I agree, layed down length of crate and width, and you can figure 350pds plus.
Unless you are going to have north america van lines pick it up you will probably
have too crate it,and will be cheaper terminal to terminal. Truck stop can weigh your truck
Then weigh your truck with crate.
