Do any of you use the ornace sconces from Vics66 for 15 in globes? If so how to they look? Can they handle the weight well of a glass globe as well?

I have 3 of them. 2 for 15 inch globes, and 1 for a white eagle. However, I have the rectangular ones (GD 104), not the ornate. I wasn't really worried about the weight from the metal bodies, but I was about the eagle. I believe the screws line up vertically, which helps with the support. They key is to have the electrical box mounted solidly to blocking or the stud I used a metal box as well. I set mine up during a re-model, so it was no problem. Mine ended up very solid and secure. I powder-coated mine, and they look really good, I get lots of compliments. I'd post a picture, but they're at my other house.

I've got eight of them and have had metal bofies, glass bodies and an eagle on them through the years. Solid mounting is paramount, and the castings themselves are quite hefty. Mine are 10 years old, and I got them from Time Passages, but I'm sure they are the same ones.

Here's a display I built. I made my own wall sconces. They mount to a standard light box.

I don't want to highjack this thread so I'll start another post and I'll show pictures of how I built these and the materials used. I'll be posting it shortly as I have to take some pictures.
