This might be a long shot but I picked up another walker mechanical floor jack from the mid 1920's. The model is a walker roll a car 720. Just wondering what the original factory color was so I can restore correctly. I remeber seeing a hunter green and black one restored but not sure if that is period correct . Here is an example of what the jack looks like. Any help would be much appreciated.

Your web connection above is not working, I tried it three times.

I have about 150 Walker Jack ads for sale, send me a picture of your jack and I'll let you know what I have.

I have one that is similar and tough to decipher the original color but I would have to go with black.

Just from memory only, I believe it was not black, it was purple. Will find a color ad this weekend.

Did you ever figure out the color combination?

Hummm...

Don't know what the 'correct' color is, but that one's original color sure looks red,

Yeah, I know, I'm probably stating the obvious. Forgive me, I'm just waking up. sleep

I would tend to agree with you, but the searches I have done online and shown restored ones in Blue and Green. I think will be in red unless I see prrof that they are to be done in another color.

Why worry, do you paint all your pump back to the original color?
