This might be a long shot but I picked up another walker mechanical floor jack from the mid 1920's. The model is a walker roll a car 720. Just wondering what the original factory color was so I can restore correctly. I remeber seeing a hunter green and black one restored but not sure if that is period correct . Here is an example of what the jack looks like. Any help would be much appreciated. http://www.millerwelds.com/resources/com...mp;d=1212872589

Your web connection above is not working, I tried it three times.
I have about 150 Walker Jack ads for sale, send me a picture of your jack and I'll let you know what I have.

I have one that is similar and tough to decipher the original color but I would have to go with black.

Just from memory only, I believe it was not black, it was purple. Will find a color ad this weekend.

Bought this one this week. Did you ever figure out the color combination?

Hummm... Don't know what the 'correct' color is, but that one's original color sure looks red, Yeah, I know, I'm probably stating the obvious. Forgive me, I'm just waking up.

Nicole I would tend to agree with you, but the searches I have done online and shown restored ones in Blue and Green. I think will be in red unless I see prrof that they are to be done in another color.

Why worry, do you paint all your pump back to the original color?
