My guess is that it had to be a promotional give~a~way! lol
Necessity is the MUTHA- of invention.
The kicker is it is Double sided!
Let this be an eye opener as to how fortunate we are in this hobby... shucking out hundred dollar bills for the stuff they scrounged up and used to make due and survive!
They call it folk art now.

Wheel Barrel fit for a king! A lot of signs were used on the farm, it was just sheet metal to them. Pretty cool!

i ran into something similar like that a couple weeks ago, but it was made in to a snow shovel, very folk art looking!

As a child we used Coke button signs for water bowls and for chicken feed..I remember buying a bunch of 6 ft signs that were used for fencing for livestock. I posted a pic a couple of years ago where I found a basketball goal that was using a 42 inch Shell sign as its backstop.
