Almost 5 years ago I was assaulted and beat up by a group of african americans for being white. After it was all said and done I had a fractured orbital ( eye socket ) and needed surgery because the bone was pinching my muscle. Well I got that all fixed up and a disolvable mesh plate was put in. this past friday I got hit and it fractured in the same spot, another spot and I have a broken nose. Im on my way in for my second surgery and this time they are putting in a titanium plate. I will be going under in about 2 hours now, they said the risks of everything went up about 4 times. I will post after surgery when im feeling better. I will be spending the night in the hospital. Hope everyones havin a better week then me!

Oh Tyler! Sorry to hear about your medical problems! At least you have youth on your side. Not much consolation but you will surely heal a lot faster then most of the members of this site!.
Its difficult to endure but it will pass and theres better days ahead. I'm well on the road to recovery from recent shoulder surgery and time was passing pretty slow for a while but my normal is coming up fast! Yours will be too! My prayers for a successful surgery and quick healing!---KEVIN

Thanks everyone, im about to go in to be put under. Hope all goes well, mainly.nervous because they said its a possibility that I wont be able to.look down anymore, ill let you know how it went when im in a stable state after.

Two of my brothers got into a fistfight at our mother's home the morning of the family barbecue and one brother fractured the other's orbital socket with a right cross. He healed up nicely after a while and so will you.Good luck to you young man! Dave

Thanks for all the kind words, im out of the surgery riom and out into the recovery rooms, I have to spend tonight and possibly.thursday night in here. My eye hurts like the dickens but im sure itll be fine in a week.or two. Ill post some pictures up when I get out and home.
