Ok I was just checking to see how all of you felt about those 15" aluminum and metal globe bodies for your lens....I haven't had any hits on the bodies I need so I was thinking of using them.....

Cities service, Vickers, Gas and Auto neons, next exit/ ahead signs and now I'm getting into globes....

I like the steel bodies better than the aluminum ones. The steel look more more original than the aluminum.

Slama makes both the Hi and Low profile ones and they are very nice.

Tway also has them on his website. I have bought his and have always been happy with them. I agree with others that the steel looks better.

In that case, all of mine are STEEL since they are all from SLAMA.

I thought that GPH was having steel ones made overseas. If I remember correctly, they match pretty much exactly to an original, especially where the base meets the body.

I could be wrong, and Slamas might be like that too.

FREEDOM oil items wanted.
