I thinking it would have been with a marine application?

I would love to see a picture of it displayed on an original pump application. Anybody?

It was probably an add on below a similar shaped Gulf MARINE sign above it.

Corny, I just noticed the topic and here is my recollection.

Years ago, bout 1969, there was a general store / filling station near a river where i used to do a lot of fishing . yes , the guy sold Gulf marine and White gas . This pump plate was mounted on a Gulf white gas dispenser . It was mounted just where the Good Gulf or a Gulf No- Nox plate would have gone . The pump was completely a white pump , like No- Nox with a dark Blue stripe at the bottom . Ed Shaver

It was mounted right below a Marine pump plate, It is smaller than the others, the top edge being the same size as the bottom edge of the Marine sign

Makes sense it would be with a marine white pump.

What is marine white anyway?
