I recently picked up two milkglass globes. They are plain, will not take a lens and have a raised band around the middle. They are roughly the same shape as the globes that except a lens but I presume something may have been painted on them. Did any gas companies use these or were they just used as blanks? Any value to them.? Thanks

Most were hung under a canopy & painted or decaled.
