Almost every original cats eye sign I have seen has a cover behind the marbles. Unless two of these signs were bolted back to back. Sign looks original to me.

Sign looks all original to me but I also believe it had a back on it. Looks like it was removed years ago. You can see a diamond line a few inches in around the outer edge where it could have been. Also looks like a few of the glass marbles were replaced.
