Dick Bennett and I headed up north a couple of weeks ago to the Escolan Show and while driving north on the 99 highway I spotted a clockface pump on the porch of a general store kind of place. I looked over to Dick and said hey I just saw a Bennett 150 over there I think! we pulled off at the next exit and found not one but two Bennett/Reehm 150 clockfaces on the porch! I had a 36b and a National A38 on the trailer that I wanted to sell at the show and guesss what? The owner was ready for a change and we did a trade deal!!! I was so excided. It was fun when we arived at the show several people asked "what happened thought you where bringing a 36 B to sell?" Anyway I told Dick that I wanted to haul those clocks home so we did. Had a great trip riding with the living pump legend Dick Bennett!!! LOL

Left the fivers guts right next to where the pumps sat Bleeding! Lol Ed we had a blast and talk about stories ... at one gas station fillup stop several people surounded the trailer checking out the pumps and telling stories. We were leaving and another rancher pulled up and said follow me I have a visible in the barn. We were heading south to go home but followed this guy north east to his place. Anyway on the way Dick figured Boyle Dayton or Gilbert and Barker and I was hoping for another Roman or something cool. He was right another freakin G&B T176 just like the one he sold that same day.Oh well it was still fun! Gene Looking forward to your visit see you at Roy's. Tom hope to see you at Freds also. Later, Rob

Great!! Just wondering if it might be a good idea to a couple of 'seed' pumps on a trailer all the time. Fun stuff.
Uh, who's DB?
