Hi, I was in Iowa and couldnt make the swap in Reno, A friend told me about a sign he saw for sale there and i thought i would put out APB for any info on who might have it. The sign was an orange and black sign from Big West Oil Co. here in Montana, I would be very interested in buying it. Thanx......Les

Les,
You may want to describe the Big West sign. I went to the Hot August Nights swap meet and don't recall seeing that sign. I did find a really neat rare old Turco sign with great graphics...

Nice to meet you also Scott, The sign was about 2 feet across, round, it said Big West Oil Company around the outside perimiter and had a sunburst behind a series of pointed stripes. Most of the sign is orange and black and some white. It would be very noticeable to most collectors as it is quite graphic. Probably sold soon after it was displayed, i was hoping someone knew who got it. Thanx....Les

Les,
That's the kind of sign I collect and would have noticed. I could possibly have missed it but my guess is that it was already sold. Good luck tracking it down.

Paul
